Expiry and Scheduling

Scheduling is essential for time-limited marketing campaigns, seasonal menus, or limited-time offers.

Setting a Schedule

  1. Edit any Dynamic QR Code.
  2. Go to the Advanced or Scheduling tab.
  3. Start Date: Choose when the code should become active.
  4. Expiry Date: Choose when the code should stop working.
  5. Set the Fallback URL: This is where users will be sent after the code expires (optional).

What happens after Expiry?

By default, if you don't set a fallback URL, users will see a "This offer has expired" page. If you provide a fallback URL, they will be redirected there instead (e.g., your main homepage).

Use Cases

  • Coupons: End a promotion exactly at midnight.
  • Event Registrations: Stop accepting scans once the event starts.
  • Job Postings: Disable the code after the position is filled.

Scheduling saves you the manual work of logging in to disable links at specific times. Set it and forget it!
