White-Label Custom Domains

By default, our dynamic codes use our domain (e.g., qrgenius.cc/xyz). With Custom Domains, you can use your own branding for the redirect URL.

Why use a Custom Domain?

• Brand Authority: Users are more likely to trust and scan a link that looks like your brand.
• SEO: All scan traffic is associated with your own domain name.
• Identity: Professional look for enterprise and marketing use.

Step 1: Choose a Subdomain

We recommend using a subdomain like qr.yourbrand.com or scan.yourdomain.com.

Step 2: Configure DNS

1. Log in to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare).
2. Go to DNS Settings.
3. Add a CNAME record:
   • Host: qr (or your chosen subdomain)
   • Value: cname.qrcodegenius.com

Step 3: Verify in Dashboard

1. In QR Code Genius, go to Dashboard > Settings > Custom Domains.
2. Click Add Domain.
3. Enter your subdomain (e.g., qr.yourbrand.com).
4. Click Verify.
