I recently asked my twitter network – which I appropriately call my “tweetwork” – to suggest some topics they would like seen discussed on QR Code Genius.
This was one of the suggestions.:
Well, I’m glad you brought that up @SOSprint! You get a gold star for the day!
If you’re sending people to your web URL on their smart phone then you’re wasting your money and time. smart phones are not capable of navigating a traditional URL and heeding the same results as a Smart Site (smart phone enabled site) will!
1) Obviously, ease of navigation is an issue. Like we said before: traditonal URL’s are not easy to navigate on a smart phone. www.BuildYourOwnSmartSite.com is a company we trust to build Smart Sites. If you’re considering a QR Code campaign you need to talk to them.
2) You’re not building your list with your website. A Smart Site’s main function is work as your silent sales rep. When you’re not around people are still scanning your QR Code. Have a smart site built that offers something for free or a giveaway that people have to enter their email address in to enter. BUILD YOUR LIST!
3) You’re not connecting people with your social media networks. By having a Smart Site built you are able to have your social media icons represented clearly on the screen. Using 1-touch technology people can tap the icon and instantly follow you on twitter or like you facebook. – It’s that easy.
Those are just THREE reasons why you should use a Smart Site to accompany your QR Code campaign.
What are some other reasons that you can think of to have a Smart Site?
Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Anyway I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon.
I wish more people would write blogs like this that are really fun to read. With all the fluff floating around on the net, it is rare to read a blog like this instead.
Many thanks.
I found a lot of interesting information in your blog. From the tons of comments on your posts, I guess I am not the only one! keep up the great work. Thanks a lot!…
