Books Into QR Codes

Posted on: June 1st, 2011 by

Books are now being converted into QR Codes by a division of WONDER-TONIC! Have they gone too far with this new technology? I don’t think so. A new division of their company cleverly named “Books 2 Barcodes” has begun the painstaking process of converting classic pieces of literature into hundreds of QR Codes. Each QR Code holds about 800 characters so you have to keep scanning as you read but, this is a great reprieve for those of us that do not have a Kindle or an e-reader and are sick of toting books around. This is perfect for traveling or lying out by the pool. I am all about simplifying my life. You can print out the page that holds the QR Codes and keep it with you. It’s much lighter and takes up much less space. I think it’s brilliant! What are your thoughts?
